Ahimsa, a hypothetical company for an undergraduate project, is a hair and skin beauty company that specializes in making and maintaining customized wigs, specifically for hair loss diseases such as Alopecia. Ahimsa’s services expand beyond wigs to provide regular hair care such as cutting and coloring, skin care such as lotions and shampoos, and consultation services. Ahimsa stands out from other beauty companies because of its specialized yet diverse services. Ahimsa is known for their beauty campaign focusing on the destigmatization of hair loss, promoting healthy, natural beauty care, and mental well-being.

The three tiers of Ahimsa’s services and products are differentiated through color: Red for hair, blue for skin, and yellow for consultation. The colors on packaging, brochures, business cards, etc correlates with the service area.

Ahimsa’s brand guidelines book provides extensive guidance on everything from design standards, such as logo, color, typography, and imagery usage to to customer service standards and the company mission.
